This project is a residential led mixed-use scheme in the London Borough of Southwark, comprising 800 residential units, more than 30,000sqm of commercial floor space, and ancillary retail/restaurant floor space. The proposal which is referable to the Mayor envisages the redevelopment of a historic Biscuit Factory at this inner London location. The planning application has involved the production of a Transport Assessment, Travel Plans, Environmental Impact Assessment, Delivery Servicing Management Plan and a Car Park Management Plan. The application followed discussions with Transport for London and the London Borough of Southwark and a public consultation process throughout the master planning of the scheme, with particular emphasis on how this significant development will link with and enhance the wider surrounding area in respect to movement and permeability. A planning application was submitted in August 2012.
